The second generation of the D5 Pacific builds on 3 years of experience designing, and assembling world-class dive watches right here in the USA. Our formula for improvement is straightforward - we've taken an award-winning product and invested in a range of refinements and upgrades for this limited edition release.

In addition to all the core features of our D5 USA Diver, which includes 20ATM water resistance, double domed sapphire crystal, and case-back, a slim Miyota 9015 automatic movement, and 2x interchangeable straps, this new Pacific design delivers 1) a new multi-layered dial with roulette 6 o'clock date 2) a two-toned sapphire crystal 120-click bezel 3) new coin-edge grip and 4) a powerful new BGW9 infused lume profile.

In addition to these technical refinements, the D5 Pacific represents a step forward in terms of Vaer's aesthetic design, by infusing a wider range of color and texture into the lineup.

Following our ongoing theme of oceanic inspiration, the D5 Pacific Rincon draws its name from one of the best surf breaks in California - the Queen, Rincon. A perfect right hand point break at the southern end of Santa Barbara, the wave peels over cobblestones. The colorway is inspired by the blue shimmer of the ocean and sunsets creating a vibrant red sky.

Sizing and Fit

This watch is sized at 39mm in diameter, and measures 48mm from lug to lug, giving it a medium-sized presence on the wrist, and complementing most men's wrists. The 39mm case is our most popular sized dive option, and we recommend it for anyone with wrists in the 6.5 inch to 8.5-inch range, or especially if you're someone who likes a more low-profile vintage fit (compared to our larger 42mm dive case options).

Built for extended outdoor use, this watch has been designed to be slim, lightweight, and as comfortable as possible, while still maintaining 20ATM water resistance. The watch case measures 11.6mm in height (13.7mm with crystal) and has a case weight of 70.6 grams. The entire case is also rounded and ergonomic so it can be worn comfortably during activities like surfing or diving.

This watch comes in a range of interchangeable strap options, and they are designed to fit wrists ranging from 6.5" to 8.5" in diameter - though we do have specialty straps available for those with wrists outside of this range.
