Our Watches Look Even Better in Person
Vaer is based in Venice Beach, California but we don't currently have our own stores. However, we do have a growing list of retail partners around the United States that you can visit to check out and try on our watches. We're actively working to expand this list, and hope to have a retail presence in most states by the end of next year. We're Committed to Fair Pricing and Local Craftsmanship
We started Vaer back in 2016 as a direct-to-consumer e-commerce company in order to deliver more value to our customers, cut out the wholesale middlemen, and maintain a direct relationship with our owners. Like hundreds of other independent American startups, our success has caused a major shift in the retail industry, where store buyers have begun to recognize that lower-margins = better value for the customer.
Vaer's commitment to USA assembly and sourcing has made retail even more difficult, as we simply don't have enough margin to sell our wholesale partners our watches at historic keystone pricing rates (often 60% off retail). Fortunately, a new generation of boutiques and buyers are beginning to come around to a new way of structuring pricing and deals. In our 8th year of business, we've made huge strides in our retail placements, and hope to continue this momentum through 2025.

Vaer is operated and headquartered in Los Angeles, and it remains our central production, assembly and quality-control hub.
Chicago, IL
Our USA-made leather straps are tanned in Illinois by the Horween Leather Company which has been operated by the same family for over 100 years.
Tampa, FL
Our USA-made leather straps are cut and sewn in Florida by a team of skilled technicians.
Kansas City, MO
In 2023 we brought our fulfillment in-house, opening and staffing our own warehouse in the middle of the American heartland.
Scottsdale, AZ
In addition to our core team in Los Angeles, we work with multiple assembly teams around the country, including our long-time partner FTS in Arizona. FTS is also the supplier of our USA-built Ameriquartz movements.
